Met up with friends I made during a trip to Kuching in May 2010 for dinner at Swee Kee Restaurant (a.k.a. Ka Soh). It’s an interesting story how we met. When Siow Har and I booked the trip, I posted on Facebook about it and asked for travel tips and advice. Justin, the guy with specs, responded and graciously offered to play host to us even though we don’t know each other and have never met.
Through him, we were introduced to a bunch of his friends and the warm hospitality of Sarawakians. Life is made interesting that way. To meet strangers seemingly out of nowhere and form fast friendships with. And our experience of the world is enriched because they are in it.
