Took my two hearts out for their Sunday walk and got this photo of Joy looking at what Rainbow was doing. She does this alot, checking out what the younger Jack Russell is doing be it at home or outside.
Although Joy can come across as hostile and territorial at times when she asserts a watchful eye so that Rainbow knows her place, but there were a couple of occasions where my parents tried to discipline Rainbow and Joy actually shielded the white dog and barked at my folks.
I haven’t seen that behaviour myself because when I am stern with either of them, no one tried to be hero. But it’s sweet to think that Joy actually looks out for Rainbow! Then again, this display of affection could be due to the fact that the brown one is humping that cute white thing.
