Came across this pitiful roadkill of a pigeon on the way to work today. Perhaps the bird, due to its carelessness, wasn’t aware of oncoming traffic and got ran over.
Often atimes, when we are not vigilant of our rights and don’t fight for fair treatment, we end up as roadkill to the bigger machine of politics, economics or indifference. May our departed feathered friend find release.
