Counting Blessings

Sawasdee khrup… Greetings from Bangkok!

I was roaming the streets for things to shoot with EX-ZR100 when I met this guy…

His name is Derng or something like that.

I cannot imagine if I was in his shoes slippers, would I have the courage to face the world?

Makes that few wrinkles, dark circles and blemishes on my face that much more trivial. Sometimes we lament and complain we have it bad…

Meet Derng.

And those who carry on living with disablement like him.

Good thoughts for the season ahead and whenever we think we “need” something that is actually a want & far from a need.

does he have leprosy? It’s just great that whatever our struggles are–God knows, God is there, God feels our pain. And at the end of it all, if we just hold onto Him, He will make us victorious. 🙂

That is the hope that we have in Jesus 🙂

not sure is it leprosy but looks like a burnt victim. but could be both. yeah, pray that God makes it up for him in some ways. he gets good ‘business’ though. many donate to him.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Its a very sobering picture and one that makes us reflect upon the things in our lives that we take for granted every day.
